About me*Progress Pictures

Hi. I’m Cyndi.

July 31, 2010 I walked into a Weight Watchers meeting and began losing weight.

Somewhere along the way, I started living life instead of watching it pass me by.

I drove semi-truck from Atlanta to Southern California and back every week with my husband and my tiny chihuahua, Dolce. I know I don’t look like your average trucker, but my obesity problem is very much like what I saw on the road with other drivers. My goal is to prove that you can lose weight with a sedentary job and live a healthy life with unhealthy things around you daily. So far, so good.

That all changed April 26, 2011. My husband’s leg was crushed in an accident. Somehow I went from a trucker to a nanny in fancy pants Atlanta almost overnight.
Our marriage didn’t survive the toll that a life changing accident takes on a relationship. We became different people.

It’s been a wild ride.

I met an amazing, sexy, british man through Weight Watchers

(he’s the real weight loss superstar)
I very happily married him.

He knocked me up.

He truly is my soulmate and I don’t know how I lived this long without him in my life.

I lost weight. Then I had a baby and gained weight. I’m fighting the scale while she fights a nap.

20130924-210803.jpgWe moved from Atlanta to Indiana then Birmingham, Alabama. I’m trying to juggle motherhood, weight loss, fertility stuff, pcos, wifey-hood, stay at home mom-hood, and life in general all while wrangling a toddler. Send caffeine. And money. And chocolate.

  1. Hi, nice to meet you !

  2. Anna says:

I just love your blog! Many of your stories hit home for me, makes me want to start my own list, and I have enjoyed finding out new ATL places to visit! Keep it up girl!

    • runrollrepeat says:

Thank you so much Anna! I’m on a personal mission to try every restaurant in Atlanta:) right now Pizzaria Venti in Buckhead is my FAV as well as Cypress Street Pint and Plate in Midtown. Both places have absolutely awesome owners and that home town feel I miss from Alabama. Make a list! I’m CONSTANTLY thinking about the list and how I can get things done and in what way to do them. It takes the focus off of JUST losing weight for me. I’m living and losing weight. Thanks for reading:)

I just found your blog through twitter. Hello, I love it. Unscripted, honest and funny. Thank you!

  4. gigi says:

I would love to get to see the country every week….i am a gypsy at heart!

    • runrollrepeat says:

I miss it. I didn’t think I would but I catch myself wondering what’s going on in California on the days I used to be there. It’s strange.

  5. S.C. says:

soo…I’ve been following you for a while now but I’ve never commented, and I just want to say KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK. (I would send you a message but I don’t know how) and i think you are BEAUUITFUL!!! seriously, gorgeous! im kinda intrigued by weight watchers so its interesting to see how it works. mostly I REALLY don’t get the 0 point fruit thing bc i could easily eat 500-600 calories a day in fruit and thats ALOT to not really count! anyway, just wanted to say and that i love your bog! stay gorgeous!

    • runrollrepeat says:

Thank you so much for your sweet words! You can email me anytime at runrollrepeat@gmail.com. I guess I should add a little email button somewhere:) I actually don’t overeat fruit unless you count bananas. For the most part I’ve been happy with Weight Watchers Points Plus. The problem right now lies in me, I just have to pull my head out of my ass and get it together. Thanks for reading, and email me anytime with questions or comments!

  6. Regina says:

Just wanted to comment to let you know how much I enjoy your blog. Sometimes it’s when we do the smallest thing for ourselves and our sanity that ends up helping far more people than we could imagine.

    • runrollrepeat says:

Thanks so much:) This made me smile big. Some days when I don’t feel like anyone hears what I have to say I come here and realize they do. I want to make a difference for other people because SO MANY bloggers made a difference for me long before this little blog was born. Kind of a pay it forward thing for me.

  10. Megan says:

Hey! I actually found you via GOMI and love your blog. Keep doing what you’re doing – I’m excited to follow along on your journey (getting the Brit here for good, the baby, the weight loss…and whatever else comes your way!).

  11. Lauren says:

Lauren here… still on your blog! I think you may have been in my WW meetings… Did you ever go to the meeting on Piedmont (in the Kroger shopping center)? You look SO familiar. Either way, totally love your blog and will definitely be sticking around!

    • runrollrepeat says:

That was my ww! I started going to Sharon’s meeting on Wednesdays at first and then (my favorite) Saturday morning with Lisa at ass thirty in the morning. I seriously miss my meetings and will be back in as soon as I have baby bump. For now, Matt and I both are using weight watchers online. I can’t wait to go to meetings with him!

  12. laurenmj86 says:

Such a small world!! I stopped going to the meetings after I got married (which I vowed to Sharon I wouldn’t do!)… I’m counting points at home, but it’s just not the same. I loved the support at the meetings. I need to go back!

    • runrollrepeat says:

I really miss my meetings! I can’t wait to go back. I love Sharon but sadly I think my ex has probably gotten to her and told her lots of untruths about the end of our marriage (as he has all of our other mutual friends). Lisa is my favorite ever and I miss her kicking my ass every Saturday.

  13. fattymustrun says:

I feel that we have a lot in common…especially the losing weight and then getting pregnant and putting it back on (plus some in my case). I feel like i’ve just got my head out my ass (14 weeks after giving birth to my little princess) but its tough priorotising oh and giving up the tea and biscuits habit I gained during pregnancy

Good Luck…and like someone else says you are gorgeous!!!

  14. Yum Yucky says:

Rock on, girlfriend. You look fantastic!

  15. Lee says:

You are amazing! Like your blog!!

  16. Kristina says:

From one “weight loss wanting female” to another: YOU are an inspiration. Every day is a battle BUT you are doing it. I read your blog often when I feel like I’m not doing all I can to get healthy. I read your words and I think ” with all that she has been through, she is still TRYING and that’s half the battle”. So thank you for your words (you make me laugh, cry, and everything in between) YOU make a difference in other people’s lives, and I can’t wait for your little one to notice that too about her mama.

    Thank you.

    • runrollrepeat says:

Oh my goodness THANK YOU. I have thought many times about stopping blogging altogether and I continue because of messages like this. It’s incredibly hard to put myself out there (especially my weight!) but if it helps one person have a little hope for themselves it’s completely worth it. I appreciate you reading along and I want you and everyone else that reads to know that I am working hard to overcome my food monsters so I can be the success story I know I have in me. I refuse to give up.

  17. Irina says:

You have a beautiful family and your little girl is adorable. Best of luck with the food/weight management – you will get there, you are on the right track!!! I found that loosing weight when nursing is not always possible – it is hard to exercise consistently while nursing, working, pumping – but it is very much worth it. I am nursing my second little girl now, and this time around I do not sweat it so much 🙂

    • runrollrepeat says:

Thanks so much! It’s extremely hard to keep up with her sometimes. I will my exercise excessively. I don’t want to dwindle my supply so I have to eat to know I can feed her properly. I’ve had friends stop nursing because they wanted to train for a marathon, and that’s awesome, but the most important thing to me is continuing our nursing as long as possible. If that means only losing 0.2lbs a week, so be it.

  18. Mario says:

Hi Cyndi, I’m Mario! I have a question regarding your site and would love to speak with you more. Please email me when you have a chance, thanks!

  19. Hey Cyndi,
Not sure if you remember me or not? We spoke once before about meeting to exercise in Atlanta – but then life happened and I completely spaced on continuing our e-mail conversation! 🙂 Know how that is?
Anyway, I lost your e-mail and wasn’t sure how to get in touch with you – Wanted you to know I nominated you for a Sunshine (blog) award! 🙂
There’s the link to my post with all the instructions. 🙂
    Talk soon I hope!!!
